Galaxiad: Timeline from 1300 to 1900.
After the New Era, there is a gap of 600 years. Here are some things I and others have mused on that indicate what's going on during that gap. The Collapse 1301. The beginning of bad times. Regina is reduced in status to a "Strong World", and the Spinward Marches loses any cohesion it had. The Regency is officially declared “dead” (if indeed anything of it still remains at this point). 1310. The Wave hits the central Imperial sectors, dissolving civilization as it goes. 1400. Regina reaches an apex of TL16, then begins a slow decline (for several complicated reasons). The term "Virus" has disappeared from our vocabulary. “Rogue AI” is the blanket term applied to any self-aware intelligent computer system that has somehow gone bad. 1410. The Wave hits Terra. 1430.
